This vibrant landscaping project transforms a prominent intersection in the heart of Uptown Dallas’s West Village district, at the bustling corner of McKinney Avenue and Blackburn Street. Our team designed and installed a stunning, eye-catching seasonal flower bed that wraps gracefully around the pedestrian-friendly median and sidewalk edge. Featuring a rich, colorful palette of purple, pink, white, and blue annuals—including petunias, calibrachoa, and complementary blooms—the curved bed creates a lush, welcoming oasis amid the urban energy of high-rise apartments, trendy shops, and passing traffic. The planting is thoughtfully arranged in flowing sweeps for maximum visual impact from all angles, with river rock mulch providing clean contrast, excellent drainage, and a modern, low-maintenance finish that complements the surrounding brick facades, contemporary architecture, and iconic Uptown vibe.
